We rate this tool. It is the only dual-voltage air styler we list, it publishes a wattage where the rest of T3’s range does not, and nine published heat-and-speed combinations is genuine control — our review says so.
It is the wrong shape for this page. T3 publishes two extra-long curling attachments and an oval AireBrush, and nothing else. There is no diffuser, and a diffuser is the attachment that lets coily hair dry without being blown out of its own pattern.
Extra-long barrels are also built around wrapping length smoothly, which is the mechanism tight coils cooperate with least. You would be paying a premium for a set whose two headline attachments do not match the hair.

Why coils are a different problem
An air styler works by using a fast, curved airflow — the Coanda effect — to pull hair around a barrel and hold it there while it dries into shape. That mechanism has an assumption baked into it: the hair follows the airstream.
Tight coils resist that. The fiber already has a strong shape of its own and considerable internal friction, so a coil is less inclined to be led around a barrel by moving air than a loose wave is. The tool still works; it works harder, more slowly, and less predictably.
Which reframes the purchase. On coily hair you are not mainly buying a curling tool — you already have curl. You are buying a way to dry with controlled stretch and minimal disturbance, and that is a job for a diffuser, a paddle attachment and a genuinely low speed.

Stretch is the real job
For most people with 4C hair the practical goal is elongation — reducing shrinkage so the hair is workable — rather than adding a curl that is already there.
There are two ways to get it with heat, and they are not equivalent. A brush attachment applies mechanical tension while warm air dries, which stretches. A diffuser applies almost no tension, which preserves the pattern at its natural length. Deciding which of those you want on a given day is the actual decision, and a tool that does only one of them is a tool you will fight.

Why the damage stakes are higher
Coily hair is structurally more vulnerable to mechanical and chemical stress than straight hair, and there is published measurement behind that. The practical consequence for this page is that session length matters twice.
