The 200 W figure describes the battery system and cannot be compared with a corded iron's wattage or costed like one.
That last note is the specification most often misread. A corded iron’s wattage tells you what it draws from the wall; the Corrale’s 200 W is a battery-side rating. Putting them in the same column would be meaningless, which is why the running-cost page excludes it.
What cordless genuinely buys you
- Reach. No socket to stand near, which on the back sections is the difference between seeing what you are doing and guessing.
- Packability. Nothing to wrap, and cord damage is the most common way a corded iron dies.
- Touch-ups away from power. A dressing room, a car, a venue with two sockets and six people.

Runtime, and the anxiety that comes with it

A battery that ages
Every lithium cell loses capacity with cycles. A corded iron at year five works exactly as it did at year one; a cordless one does not, and no maker in this registry publishes a cycle rating.
